It’s apparently our turn!
All winter, we’ve been watching, waiting for that other shoe boot to drop. We haven’t had all that much of the white stuff floating around here this winter. We’ve had snow, don’t get me wrong, but not at all like the East Coast, and not like so many other Chicago winters I’ve known. No, it’s been a manageable winter. Apparently, that’s all going to come to an end, today. Apparently, Mother Nature wants to make sure we know she’s still the boss and she hasn’t forgotten us. Apparently, us Mid-Westers are going to have a Nor-Easter. Starting any minute now. The big question is, did the weatherman get it right? We’ll know soon, won’t we? In the meantime, better stock the frig if the stores aren’t empty already. And batten down those hatches. The only saving grace I have is that I am starting to plan my wardrobe for the cruise to the Southern Caribbean at the end of the month! This just makes me appreciate it even more!
